The ultra-compact DMC-TZ3/TZ2 boasts a 28mm wide-angle** LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 10x optical zoom power. With the wide-angle lens, you can get all your friends in the picture or capture an expansive landscape in a single shot. And with the high-power optical zoom, you can get clear, beautiful shots even when you can`t get close to your subject. The 15x (DMC-TZ3, 35mm equivalent: 420mm) / 13.8x (DMC-TZ2, 35mm equivalent: 386mm) Extra Optical Zoom*** feature gives you even greater zoom power.
The Intelligent Image Stabilizer automatically prevents blurring. MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) suppresses the effects of hand-shake, so you get vibrantly colored shots of the remarkable landscapes you find when traveling, in all their natural beauty, even when zooming.
High image quality, high speed response, Low energy consumption: Venus Engine III in the DMC-TZ3/TZ2 allows high-sensitivity recording up to ISO 1250 at full resolution. The noise reduction system is also greatly improved while maintaining high resolution.
